I found the article "Apologizing by Text Is Different From Saying Sorry in Person" very interesting. It's a given that this generation is way too connected to their phones, but I don't think people understand the effects of it. If you were upset over something would you really want a text from someone saying "im sorry"? I know when I am a hundred percent sorry about something I've done, texting the apology is the last thing id do. Even a simple phone call so they could hear me say it is considered better in my book, but id still prefer to say an apology, as well as receive one, in person. The article talks about how technology is interfering with empathy skills and how to deal with empathy and I could not agree more.

Steph.. great job on this.. yes.. since we know that technology sometimes get in the way of relationships with others... we need to be conscious of making sure we put more time into people than always into technology. Blog #8 is in.. great job. :-)
