Summary Author? Title? Topic? The title of this selection is What To Wear To The Interview. It talks about the general “dos” and “don’ts” on what to wear to a job interview. It explains how things as simple as not dressing right can ruin a job for you. You should always be nicely dressed and have good hygiene for an interview.
Editorial Personal opinion and connection. My opinion is a dressing nice is important for an interview because something like dressing inappropriate can be the tie breaker between two potential employees. If I was an employer and someone looked like they came to the job in what they slept in, they defiantly wouldn’t make a good first impression on me. Someone who took their time to get ready and look nice would have a much better chance at getting the job because it shows they care and want to make a good impression. It is a little ridiculous at how drastic some things are, for example having your nails painted could cost you the whole job. But it’s the employers decision not yours. It should be common sense to dress appropriate and not look like a bum. Outside Connection Lady Gaga could take several lessons away from this article. I see some girls walking around school with green hair. Of course it’s your hair do what you want with it but I don’t think that will be very impressive in a job interview. She also wears leather chained pants a lot and no offense but come off as a little scary. If she was going to work for hot topic I’m sure the way she looks would be acceptable. But just about any other job I think they’d frown on green hair and chains. Hopefully she dyes her hair and has some nicer clothes for her future job interview.
